Completed: Apron (Butterick 4945)

I had really wanted to participate in Karen’s apron-a-long.  But other commitments got in the way of my plans.  So I missed the official fun.  But I decided to go ahead and make my apron anyway!

I used Butterick 4945, which I’ve used twice before.  This time I made view E.

I added some black bias tape along the ruffle, and added green along the waistband for some contrast.

I also lined my pocket with the green fabric.

And my favorite little detail – a loop for hanging!

This was a fun and quick project, and even though I was too late for the apron-a-long, I’m just in time for the holidays.  Which is a good thing because I have pumpkin pie duty this Thanksgiving!
